Molokai is one of the eight main islands of Hawaii, located in the central Pacific. There are many breathtaking and beautiful sites to see. The island’s infamous northern Kalaupapa Peninsula is a steep path leading to Kalaupapa National Historical Park, an isolated archipelago known for its former leper colony and towering cliffs. The site can be viewed from the Kalaupapa Lookout at the Palaau State Park. Nearby, the park’s Phallic Rock is said to have fertility powers.

Other notable sites are Molokai’s Halawa valley on the north shore, home to the world’s tallest sea cliffs at 3,000 feet, Hawaii’s longest waterfall Kahiwa falls 2,200 feet, and Hawaii’s longest magnificent white sand known as Papohaku Beach. Rustic and one of the least populated of all the islands in Hawaii, Molokai is certainly the most beautiful, as if frozen in time.
